Approaches We Use for Therapy with Children and Teens

  • Focuses on changing negative thoughts and beliefs related to the trauma. 

  • Helps people with anxiety by reframing their stories and challenging negative self-narratives, using externalizing, reframing and deconstruction.

  • IFS aims to help clients mindfully separate from their trauma-related thoughts, sensations, and emotions, in order to bolster the ability to be a compassionate witnesses to their traumatic experience without reliving or becoming overwhelmed by it.
